Recipe: CBD Margherita Pizza

We teamed up with Chef Eric Provencio and his crew at CBD Education Online to bring you a tantalizing, easy pizza recipe.

You’re sure to impress your date with this one! And afterward, you’ll have extra CBD olive oil for later cooking delights.

If you’re curious about cooking with CBD, you can find more dinners, desserts, snacks, and even pet treats in Chef Provencio’s complete recipe book, “The Ultimate CBD Cookbook.” In addition to recipes, there are great tips and guidelines for dosing your homemade CBD edibles.

Prep time: 30 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Serves: about 5-6 servings

CBD olive oil ingredients

• 1 ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
• ¼ cup CBD oil (Use any of our Top CBD Brands, unflavored, for this!)

Margherita pizza ingredients

• Pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
• 8 oz. mozzarella cheese (ball or shredded form)
• 1 Tbsp CBD olive oil
• 3 Tbsp finely chopped roasted garlic
• ¼ cup tomato sauce
• 2 large tomatoes, sliced
• Fresh Basil leaves
• Salt and pepper to taste

CBD olive oil instructions

1. Simply mix 1 ¼ of extra-virgin olive oil and ¼ cup of CBD oil together in a container of your choice.
2. Let it sit for a couple of hours so that it can fully mix together. Give the container a gentle shake every now and then during this process. Store in a cool, dry place in a fully sealed bottle or container.
3. You can use leftover oil like you would any olive oil, but be careful of excess heat which can damage cannabinoids.

CBD margherita pizza instructions

1. Now for the pizza! Prepare your pizza dough. You can make one from scratch or you can buy one from the store. Either one works fine!
2. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
3. While the oven is heating up, grab some cling wrap to wrap the dough and let it sit. Doing this will cause it to rise just a little bit, so it gives you that fluffy, airy crust that is to die for.
4. Gather a small mixing bowl, adding your CBD cooking oil and finely chopped garlic. Brush the CBD olive oil and garlic mixture all over the top of the dough after unwrapping it. Also, you can put some dents all over the inside portion of the crust. This will help keep the pizza from bubbling up.
5. Using the same brush, evenly spread the tomato sauce across the inside portion of the pizza dough.
6. Next, throw on as much mozzarella cheese as you like and top with sliced tomatoes.
7. Put the pizza on the center rack and bake for about 15 minutes.
8. At 10 minutes, sprinkle on fresh basil to your liking.
9. After the edges of the pizza are a nice, golden-brown, take it out and let it cool for a few minutes.
10. Optionally, drizzle with a little more CBD olive oil.
11. Serve with added Italian seasoning, salt and pepper, parmesan, red pepper flakes, and other delicious toppings. & Enjoy!

RECIPE: CUPID’S CBD FIZZ FROM CURALEAF HEMP

Ingredients

• 2 oz gin
• 0.5 oz lemon juice
• 0.5 oz Aperol
• One egg white

Preparation

• Place all ingredients in a shaker with no ice for a dry shake for no less than 10 seconds
