WHY is the US so deplorably behind in legalizing this miracle plant?!? What can we do to help make it legal? And how can we use it in the meantime? My partner has glorious visions/plans to create intentional/sustainable communities, around a central business hub, with everyone in the community owning/living-in a microdwelling (tiny home on a foundation) on the campus. What better construction material than hempcrete?!? How can we make this (and other) dream(s) come to life …? (We’re in Oregon, where the growing of plants is prolific!)

I also design and build tiny (100 sq ft to 500 sq ft) geodesic domehomes. I would love to build with hemp fiber grown and processed here in Alaska. Wouldn’t it be possible to use a heavy hemp textile with hempcrete? I’m at intensetents@gmail.com
